  • “Recent studies have found that lawyers are more prone to depression and anxiety than the general population” (thomson reuters legal solutions) i am conscious of this and have been since before law school. focusing on my well-being is and will always be a priority of mine. asking and seeking help and constantly working on myself is okay.

  • as a people-pleasing person trying to break the cycle, I need to remind myself to be kind to myself and to prioritize my needs.

  • here’s the thing about snacks in my office, we used to not have them at all and now we do and the changing of the snack guard occurs quite often so that brings us to the age-old question, to snack or not to snack

  • note to self – do. not. cancel. you need it, you’ll feel better after and thank yourself later

  • when you have a office you can close the door whenever you want, but be careful, don’t close it too much because you don’t want to look like you aren’t being open and standoffish. tough predicament, i dare say. i am still figuring out the happy medium

  • at the end of the day, i did my best, that’s all i could have done.

  • sleeping in knowing there is no work today, life’s little luxuries

  • even if no one really reads this, i find that writing these blurbs really do help me out and i just want to say, thanks for reading, whoever you are *gives out golden star with a smile and an awkward hug*

  • when you’re late, miss an appointment or a meeting, a follow up is nice, just saying

  • trying to relax because it’s Sunday, but knowing tomorrow is a Monday. just thankful Wednesday is holiday. having a hump day break is amazing, and I will take it.
